I am going back to the 7xxx version because after the first 8.0.0.5 try, i noticed a little less quality than the 7xxx
version in the movie in the shadows or blacks (it seems more dark grey) also color gradients (lightning) are not so clean, you see gradient steps, thats is very less in the older 7xxx versions.
Someone would not agree with me, because the 1:1 copy, but it was mij experience. (i did a compare check with the older) It means only to me that it re-compress the files........there is a little other conversion tool out here for not a Win O.S., its convert so clean that you don't see the difference from the orignal source, while its a less less file size....(Xvid) sorry.
Once the creators of DVDfab said there was an improving in the .......technic, but in don't
remember what is was, (i thought something like block-anti alias).
Also i was not able to load a harddisk file done with the DVDfab to convert it to AVI, it tells me ERROR can not
handle encrypted files . (???)
best regards
Best:
Can read the newest DVD discs ( as customer we have the right to make our own copy for personal use from
our precious discs sometimes with a shocking price tag for a plastic disc +- 20 euro).
Runs well with Wine under Linux, also toh older 7xxx versionsµ
Worst:
I personal noticed Image quality loss
compared to another convertor software.
